Some friends are just the cutest!!
It helps that I adore Sandy already, but when she contacted me because she wanted to surprise her friend with a maternity session I was hooked! How cool is that?! Jessi is nearing her due date everyday… only a few weeks away! So, we were on a little time crunch. But we did not let the time or MONSOON get in the way! Thankfully Le Meridian Hotel in Dallas always provides a fantastic backdrop! Anyway, check out this super cute couple… and their awesome friends!!

Well my loves… it’s that time! Fall is my absolute FAVORITE time of the year!!! The weather is PERFECT, people never complain about the temps, the colors are gorgeous, and it’s FAIR time! Oh man… it’s loaded with my favorite things! The East Texas State Fair starts on Sept 21… and the Texas State Fair starts Sept 28th! My heart just starts to leap when I think about all that the fair holds! Oh my lordy! I can’t even begin to describe!
So… with all that excitement… if you get a session on the books during the months of September and October *meaning, you need to schedule it, it doesn’t have to occur during those months* you will get a special price!! The special price includes a disc of the high res EDITED images! Fully edited, fully big enough to do whatever you want with! If you’d like albums *WHICH I LOVE* let’s talk!! This special is only for families and children! It’s time to start thinking about Christmas cards and Christmas pictures so, let’s get your session on the books! I announced this unofficially yesterday on Facebook and slots are already beginning to fill in! So, I don’t want to rush you, but don’t forget the time change in October. The sun starts setting around 5:30 in November so my beautiful day light is much less available *sad face*. If you can’t tell, I’m excited!

Some babies just have a mind of their own. Mattie Anne, is one of those babies! With a scheduled c-section on June 5th, little girl just couldn’t wait. On Saturday June 2nd, Mattie’s mommy just couldn’t sleep and then realized baby number two was ready to make her debut! So, after heading to the hospital at 5:30 in the morning, Mattie showed her pretty face later that morning. Tons of family and friends were there to welcome this baby doll.
One little girl in particular couldn’t stop talking about Mattie… her big sister Avery, or Monkey as I lovingly call her! Why do I know so much about this event?? Oh, you know, just because Monkey and Mattie are 2 of my precious nieces. Get ready for many many more pink, frilly, and girly photo shoots!

Ok… now that you’ve seen this awesome little man I can tell you a little bit… His name is Carson. He just had his first birthday. And I love him! Also, check out his champ older brothers… they are so great with him! I kind of wish while I was shooting Carson’s pictures I could also video what was going on behind me! These boys were making all kinds of crazy noises and dancing around like monkeys or something the whole time… all for the sake a 1 year olds smile! How awesome is that?!
